Duties
- Conduct thorough investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing information to support legal cases.
- Locate and serve legal documents such as subpoenas, summonses, and complaints to individuals involved in ongoing legal proceedings.
- Maintain detailed records of all investigative activities and service attempts to ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and law enforcement agencies to facilitate smooth communication and case progression.
- Utilize courier skills to deliver documents promptly and securely across various locations.
- Perform filing of case documents, reports, and evidence in accordance with legal protocols.
- Execute process serving tasks efficiently while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a private investigator or process server is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of investigative techniques, legal procedures, and relevant laws governing service of process.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview witnesses and interact professionally with clients and the public.
- Ability to operate as a courier for document delivery with reliability and discretion.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and filing documentation.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to navigate urban and rural areas effectively.
- Familiarity with filing procedures for legal documents is a plus. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
