Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst II (Finance) to support the implementation and optimization of Infor CloudSuite Financials. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and the implementation partner, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, validated, and delivered. This role requires strong expertise in finance processes, ERP implementations, business analysis, testing, data migration, and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the internal functional expert for Infor CloudSuite Financial modules.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the implementation partner.
Gather, analyze, document, and manage business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead business requirement workshops and solution design discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
Validate current-state business processes and identify pain points, process gaps, and customization opportunities.
Review and validate future-state solution designs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Challenge implementation recommendations when proposed solutions do not meet business requirements.
Document functional configurations, business rules, workflows, process maps, and solution decisions.
Identify and document system gaps, risks, assumptions, dependencies, and workarounds.
Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Support data migration activities by collaborating with data architects and business teams to validate financial data.
Develop comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts.
Execute Unit Testing and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E) Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Coordinate defect resolution and validate fixes with implementation teams.
Create end-user documentation, training materials, quick reference guides, and job aids.
Lead user training sessions and support organizational change management initiatives.
Monitor project risks, data quality issues, and communicate status updates to leadership.
Collaborate with Finance, IT, PMO, and external implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting Finance or ERP implementations.
Hands-on experience with Infor CloudSuite Financials or other enterprise ERP platforms.
Strong understanding of Finance business processes including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Strong experience with ERP implementation methodologies and SDLC.
Experience supporting data migration, testing, and system validation.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Infor CloudSuite implementation projects.
Knowledge of Finance transformation initiatives.
Experience creating business process maps using Visio or similar tools.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI.
Prior experience working with implementation partners and cross-functional business teams.
