What You'll Do
Empower Growth
- Provide individualized vocational counseling and person-centered support
- Help participants identify strengths, interests, abilities, and career goals
- Develop personalized rehabilitation and employment plans that inspire success
- Conduct assessments and vocational evaluations to guide meaningful services
Be an Advocate
- Partner with participants, families, caregivers, referral agencies, and community providers
- Coordinate services that support each individual's unique journey
- Advocate for participant choice, independence, and self-determination
- Present recommendations that improve participant outcomes and program quality
Teach, Coach & Inspire
- Facilitate engaging individual and group sessions focused on vocational readiness, life skills, confidence building, wellness, and personal growth
- Support participants in developing the skills needed to succeed both in the workplace and in everyday life
- Celebrate milestones and encourage progress every step of the way
Make an Impact Through Quality Care
- Maintain comprehensive electronic case records and documentation
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and measurable participant goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional services
- Stay current with rehabilitation best practices and innovative approaches
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, or a related field
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
- Passion for helping individuals achieve greater independence and quality of life
