At Gym Skills, we believe gymnastics isn't just for kids. Our Adult Gymnastics program exists to help adults rediscover movement, build confidence, challenge themselves, and become part of an encouraging community.
We're looking for an energetic, organized, and community-focused leader to oversee and grow our Adult Gymnastics program. This role combines coaching, program management, marketing, community outreach, and relationship building to create an exceptional experience for every adult athlete.

Position Summary
The Adult Gymnastics Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall success and growth of Gym Skills' Adult Gymnastics program.
In addition to coaching classes, you'll oversee program operations, build relationships with participants, organize community events, promote the program through social media, and represent Gym Skills throughout the community.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both coaching and leadership and wants to make a lasting impact while helping grow a unique program.
Schedule & Availability
- Tuesday evenings (approximately 6:30 PM–9:00 PM)
- Thursday evenings (approximately 6:30 PM–9:00 PM)
- Flexible administrative hours for planning, marketing, and outreach
- Occasional weekends for special events, festivals, open gyms, and community outreach
- Willingness to be cross-trained in recreational youth programs as needed
About Our Adult Program
Our Adult Gymnastics program welcomes athletes ages 18 and older—from complete beginners to former competitive gymnasts.
Each class includes:
- Group warm-up
- Strength and conditioning
- Skill instruction and progressions
- Supervised open gym with individualized coaching

ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership
- Oversee the day-to-day success of the Adult Gymnastics program
- Create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive culture
- Develop ideas to increase participation and member retention
- Monitor class quality and participant experience
- Collaborate with Gym Skills leadership to grow the program
Coaching
- Lead adult gymnastics classes
- Coach athletes of all experience levels
- Provide spotting and skill progressions when appropriately trained
- Modify skills for varying abilities and comfort levels
- Foster confidence while maintaining a safe learning environment
Community Building
- Build relationships with participants inside and outside the gym
- Welcome new members and create a strong sense of community
- Organize social gatherings, themed events, challenges, and program activities
- Encourage participant engagement and long-term involvement
Marketing & Social Media
- Create engaging content for the Adult Gymnastics program
- Capture photos and videos during classes
- Take charge in social media planning and posting
- Promote upcoming events, classes, clinics, and success stories
- Help showcase the fun and welcoming culture of the program
Community Outreach
- Represent Gym Skills at local festivals, health fairs, community events, and networking opportunities
- Build relationships with local businesses, fitness communities, universities, and organizations
- Help identify partnership opportunities to increase program awareness
- Support promotional events and community demonstrations
Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist with participant communication
- Track attendance and program feedback
- Help coordinate special events and clinics
- Support scheduling and program organization
- Work alongside leadership on future program development
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous gymnastics experience strongly preferred
- Background in cheer, dance, acrobatics, parkour, circus arts, or fitness instruction also welcomed
- Previous coaching, teaching, or leadership experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with groups and representing Gym Skills professionally
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable using social media platforms for business promotion
- Passion for community building and creating positive experiences
- Ability to remain active throughout coaching shifts
