3 positions open:

1. Syracuse, NY: Shift-Monday - Friday 7:45AM - 4:45PM, rotating Saturdays 7:00AM - 12:00PM

2. Liverpool, NY: Shift-Monday - Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM, Rotating Saturdays 7:00AM-12:00PM

3. Camillus, NY: Shift- Monday-Friday 7:30AM-430PM, Rotating Saturdays 7:00AM-12:00PM

Position Responsibilities:

Phlebotomy technician with experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collections as required.
Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
Fully understand all of the physicians' orders.
Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.

Qualifications:

2+ years of phlebotomy experience doing blood draws on pediatrics and geriatrics.
Specimen processing
High School Diploma or GED
Must pass a color vision test
