Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the quality of life for clients by delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of those we serve.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety while lifting or repositioning clients.
Monitor and document vital signs as needed, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
Support clients with daily activities, encouraging independence while providing necessary assistance.
Observe and report on client conditions, including any changes in behavior or health status.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality.
Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and social interaction.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall quality of life.

Skills

Strong background in caregiving with experience in home community care preferred.
Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in health status.
Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
Ability to lift clients safely while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality at all times.
