JMS Custom Services is hiring an Automotive Technician and a Lube and Tire Technician. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Lube and Tire Technician Responsibilities:
- · No tools required, basic tools will be supplied
Duties included but are not limited to:
- Change engine oil and oil filters
- Mount and balance tires
- Rotate tires, repair tires
- Replace air filters and light bulbs
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including powertrain components and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately
- Align vehicle components according to manufacturer specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Lube Technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive service procedures and standards
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools used in the automotive industry
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not required
- Valid driver's license
