Doctor Management Service is a leading provider of medical billing and coding services, with 15 years of experience supporting physicians and healthcare facilities across the USA. We specialise in increasing revenue and reducing overheads for our clients through customised, expert solutions. We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly organised Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data, which is fundamental to our billing operations and the success of the healthcare professionals we serve.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely input of sensitive information. Your primary duties will include:

Accurately entering patient demographics, insurance information, and clinical data into our billing systems.
Reviewing documents and on-screen data for errors and correcting any inconsistencies to ensure data integrity.
Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies when handling sensitive patient records.
Preparing and sorting source documents, and identifying and interpreting data to be entered.
Assisting the billing and coding team by retrieving information and supporting administrative tasks as required.
Performing regular data verification and quality control checks to maintain high standards of accuracy.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess a strong work ethic and an exceptional eye for detail. Key qualifications include:

Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar administrative role.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
A high level of discretion and a commitment to handling confidential information responsibly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in the healthcare sector or familiarity with medical terminology would be a significant advantage.
