PARALEGAL POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS

· Paralegal certificate REQUIRED for this position

· College degree preferred but not required

· Must be proactive, with ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

· Exceptional attention to detail

· Superior verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Adobe. Experience with WordPerfect, Clio and social media a plus

· Reliable, with excellent attendance

· Position is full-time in office for the first year. Hybrid schedule possible thereafter

· We are willing to train the right individual

BENEFITS

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Key responsibilities include case calendaring, document management, discovery support and trial prep logistics activities

· Conduct research

· Prepare, proofread, format, cite-check and analyze legal documents, including motions, stipulations, settlement agreements, and correspondence

· Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances

· Manage court deadlines and assist with court filings

· Communicate professionally with fellow staff, clients, court staff, and opposing counsel
