Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support children as they learn through play, exploration, and daily routines.
- Help implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day.
- Assist with classroom organization, cleaning, and daily routines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- A genuine love for working with young children.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe, caring, and engaging classroom environment.
- Must meet all Georgia Bright from the Start employment requirements.
