The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Annuity New Business Manager to take ownership of annuity applications from initial review through issue and funding.
This is not a data-entry position. The person in this role will actively manage a high-volume pipeline, work directly with agents and carriers, resolve processing issues, and ensure cases continue moving toward completion.
The Senior Annuity New Business Manager will also serve as a primary resource for pending-business questions and as the escalation point for FireLight troubleshooting and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage annuity applications from initial review through issue and funding.
- Review applications for accuracy, completeness, and submission readiness.
- Confirm licensing, carrier appointments, contracting, product training, and applicable suitability or best-interest requirements.
- Proactively monitor cases and identify delays, risks, or missing information.
- Work directly with agents, carriers, Sales Assistants, and internal departments to resolve outstanding requirements.
- Resolve NIGO, suitability, compliance, licensing, contracting, and processing issues.
- Provide clear and accurate case-status updates.
- Research and resolve complex pending-business questions.
- Troubleshoot FireLight application and processing issues.
- Provide administrative support related to FireLight access, workflows, and application status.
- Maintain complete and accurate case records in company systems.
- Monitor pending-business reports, case aging, issue rates, placement time, and outstanding requirements.
- Identify workflow problems and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with procedures, training materials, audits, reporting, and special projects.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of annuity new business or case-management experience preferred.
- Five or more years of FireLight or electronic application-processing experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of annuity application workflows and carrier processes.
- Knowledge of licensing, contracting, carrier appointments, product training, suitability, and best-interest requirements.
- Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline and competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving, research, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Experience working directly with insurance carriers and financial professionals.
- Experience using CRM and electronic application platforms.
- FireLight experience strongly preferred.
- DriveIT or comparable insurance CRM experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related business applications.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and maintain accountability.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
Pay: $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
