We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder to join our team in a fully remote, temp-to-hire opportunity supporting healthcare reimbursement reviews and payment integrity initiatives.
Position Details
- Pay: $21.42 per hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Location: Fully Remote
- Equipment: Provided by Client

Responsibilities
- Review medical claims and reimbursement determinations
- Analyze denials, underpayments, recoupments, and claim adjustments
- Interpret EOBs and payment information
- Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier guidelines
- Research reimbursement discrepancies and recommend resolutions
- Prepare payment determination documentation
- Ensure compliance with payer policies and coding guidelines
- Collaborate with internal teams on complex claim reviews
Required Qualifications
- Current CPC or CCS certification through AAPC or AHIMA
- 3+ years of medical coding experience
- Experience with:
- ICD-10-CM
- CPT Coding
- HCPCS
- CPT Modifiers
- EOB Interpretation
- Reimbursement Methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Payment Posting
