****$5000.00 Sign on Bonus****

Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab is seeking RN Charge Nurse candidate's for 12 hour 6:45a-7:15p and 6:45p-715a positions on a 2-3-2 rotating schedule and Monday-Friday 2:45p-11:15p. We are a 160 bed skilled nursing facility located in Cordova, Tennessee.

We offer competitive wage rates based on years of experience, plus additional shift differentials for most positions. We also offer paid time off (PTO), Holiday pay (two times regular pay rate , company paid life insurance, affordable health insurance plans for part-time and full-time employees, and a 401k Plan with matching contributions. Other group benefit plans include dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability, critical illness, and accidental injury insurance.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct care to residents, including the administration of medications, treatments and other care in accordance with physicians’ orders and the residents’ care plans.
Perform clinical observation and evaluation of each resident’s physical, mental, cognitive and emotional status.
Communicate with physicians and/or nurse practitioners regarding resident care needs and concerns.
Implement and communicate all physician and /or nurse practitioner orders, including communicating changes to other caregivers.
Respond to resident events, accidents, incidents and/or allegations of resident abuse, neglect and/or misappropriation of property.
Perform an assessment of residents and provide emergency intervention, if needed.
Initiate investigation of accident/incident/unusual circumstances, when indicated, and in accordance with facility policy and procedures.
Attend in-service education programs in order to stay current in your profession and practice and meet facility educational requirements.
