Mimar Architects & Engineers, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and committed Electrical Plans Reviewer and Inspector with 8+ years of experience. We are seeking candidates with experience in the following: design/working of electrical systems for buildings and facilities, electrical systems including power and lighting design, low, medium and high voltage systems which may include designing generators and transformers.
Our main offices are located in Columbia, MD, and DC (Navy Yard), and a branch office in York, Pennsylvania. The person in this position shall primarily work at aviation facilities and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking to interview for full time, flexible hours and remote work. This is a hybrid position, with on-site work in the Baltimore area.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing plans and performing engineering analysis, evaluation, design review, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex solutions that require a thorough knowledge of electrical systems. Inspection services are also to be provided.
Education and Experience:
- Maryland Master Electrician License.
OR
- ICC Certified Electrical Plans Reviewer and
- ICC Certified Commercial Electrical Inspector.

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience. This position includes an excellent benefits package.
