Responsibilities:
As a Member Service Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members — both in-person and over the phone. Key duties include:
- Processing transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, official checks, money orders, wire transfers)
- Opening new accounts, completing account maintenance, and closing accounts as needed
- Assisting members with general questions and account inquiries
- Promoting and cross-selling credit union products and services that benefit members
- Ensuring compliance with credit union policies and federal regulations
- Delivering friendly, accurate, and professional customer service
- We have 3 offices. You may be expected to work at any of our office locations as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic cash handling experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to learn and follow financial regulations and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a bank or credit union
- Bilingual communication skills (a plus)
