Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer is a professional with both a strong technical and business skillset who supports Nanonation’s sales team with product and technical knowledge. The sales team is responsible for developing and closing new business among retail, financial services, restaurant, museum, and corporate clients. You will operate as part of this team designing solutions and offering product expertise throughout the sales process. As a Sales Engineer, you will help the team communicate about the more technical aspects of our products and solutions as a subject matter expert (SME).

The ideal candidate will:
· Have an understanding of Audio/Video systems
· Understand basic network architectures
· Be familiar with software development processes
· Have a strong understanding of information systems
· Possess strong communication skills
· Be comfortable in front of customers and with limited travel
You will assist outside sales representatives with their account activities. This will include technical solution design, competitive analysis, estimating new projects with the software development, building hardware specifications, and assisting with customer presentations and proposals. Writing and verbal communication are key parts of this role.
This is an in-office position located in Lincoln Nebraska.
Candidates with experience in these areas are preferred:
· Prior sales engineer or technical SME role
· Professional IT or A/V sales or installation experience
· Technical Support
Other Requirements:
· Competency in Microsoft Office applications
· Occasional travel
Compensation:
- Based on skillset and prior experience.
