Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing, process improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives across the plant. This role provides a strong technical foundation through hands-on involvement in process analysis, productivity improvement, data reporting, and cross-functional project support within a heavy manufacturing environment.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position will be located in West Memphis, AR in the USA.
1. Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
- Support the evaluation and improvement of manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
- Analyze workflow, labor utilization, material flow, and equipment performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in developing and implementing methods to improve productivity, cycle time, and overall plant performance.
2. Data Analysis & Performance Reporting
- Collect, organize, and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare clear and structured reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing operational findings and recommendations.
- Support analysis of KPIs related to efficiency, scrap, downtime, labor performance, and capacity.
3. Manufacturing Support
- Work closely with production teams to support daily operational challenges and process-related problem solving.
- Assist in standardizing work methods and improving consistency across operations.
- Support line balancing, layout evaluation, and workstation optimization efforts.
4. Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement projects across the plant.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for process inefficiencies or recurring operational issues.
- Support initiatives focused on cost reduction, productivity gains, and process standardization.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to support operational objectives.
- Assist in resolving issues impacting product quality, process flow, or manufacturing efficiency.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving process optimization and performance improvement.
6. Documentation & Standards
- Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, process maps, work instructions, and other operational documentation.
- Help ensure process controls and documentation are aligned with company standards and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of studies, analyses, and project activities.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all plant safety procedures and company policies while working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, plant procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required
Professional Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing environment
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
Technical Proficiency
· Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, process flow analysis, and productivity improvement methods.
· Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement concepts preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Exposure to ERP systems, data analysis tools, or process mapping software is a plus.

Pay: $77,290.79 - $84,276.18 per year
