We are seeking talented and passionate Experienced Henna and Jagua Henna artists to join our vibrant marketplace team in. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to showcase your artistic skills, connect with diverse clients, and create stunning body art that celebrates culture and personal expression. As a key member of our beauty and wellness community, you will deliver exceptional service, craft intricate designs, and promote a welcoming environment for all visitors. This paid position is perfect for artists eager to elevate their craft while engaging with a lively, multicultural audience.

Responsibilities

Create beautiful, precise Henna and Jagua designs tailored to client preferences, ensuring high-quality artistry in every application
Engage with clients to understand their desired designs, offering expert advice on styles and aftercare instructions
Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in compliance with health regulations, ensuring safety for clients and staff
Manage appointment scheduling and walk-in clients efficiently using salon or marketplace software such as Millennium or MINDBODY
Promote services through social media management, sharing images of artwork to attract new customers and build your personal brand
Upsell related beauty treatments such as body waxing, nail care, or makeup application to enhance client experience and increase sales
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, managing client expectations, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish

Experience

Proven experience as a Henna or Jagua Henna artist with a strong portfolio of intricate body art designs
Knowledge of sanitation standards specific to body art applications and familiarity with salon or spa safety protocols
Experience working in the beauty industry, including familiarity with esthetic treatments like dermal fillers, chemical peels, or dermabrasion is a plus
Skilled in client communication, understanding different cultural preferences, and delivering personalized services
Ability to operate salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY efficiently
Strong social media management skills for promoting artwork and engaging with the community online
Previous experience in retail sales or guest services within a beauty or wellness setting is advantageous
