Full Job Description

Norwalk Veterinary Hospital is looking to add an experienced FULL TIME veterinary receptionist to our front desk team! At least 1 year of veterinary experience is required to be considered for this position. We are a busy, family owned, four doctor general practice priding ourselves on providing top tier care for our clients and patients. The ideal candidate will be people and customer service oriented with a positive attitude and work ethic. A desire to learn and the ability to multitask in a busy atmosphere are key requirements, history with Cornerstone veterinary software preferred. * schedule includes one Saturday shift per month 8am-2pm *

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

Greet clients and their pets in a friendly, positive and professional manner
Field all phone calls
Schedule appointments
Possess the role of client / doctor liaison
Accept payments at time of service and balance cash drawers at end of day
Monitor hospital email
Ensure the waiting room of the hospital remains calm and organized
