Site Supervisor
Position Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations on construction projects to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to company quality standards. This role serves as the primary on-site coordinator between subcontractors, the Project Manager, and the Project Coordinator.
The Site Supervisor is expected to maintain strong communication with all parties involved while proactively managing timelines, workmanship, material logistics, and punch list completion.
Key Responsibilities
Subcontractor Coordination
- Meet with subcontractors on-site to review scope, scheduling, and project expectations
- Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure efficient workflow and minimal delays
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to project schedules and deadlines
- Monitor subcontractor performance and workmanship quality
Project Timeline Management
- Maintain and enforce project timelines established by the Project Manager
- Identify potential delays and communicate solutions proactively
- Assist in keeping projects progressing according to schedule milestones
Quality Control
- Conduct ongoing site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Address deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions when necessary
- Ensure completed work aligns with company and client expectations
Material Handling & Logistics
- Coordinate material deliveries to job sites
- Perform material pick-up and delivery when necessary
- Verify materials are accurate, available, and ready for scheduled work
Budget Awareness
- Assist in maintaining project costs within the budget established by the Project Manager
- Communicate potential overages or change conditions immediately
- Help reduce unnecessary labor, material, and scheduling inefficiencies
Punch List & Project Completion
- Finalize punch list items when necessary
- Ensure projects are completed cleanly and professionally
- Assist with final walkthroughs and project closeout activities
Communication & Documentation
- Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Project Coordinator
- Maintain organized job site documentation, photos, and notes
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, restoration, or field supervision preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and schedules simultaneously
- Understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and quality standards
- Ability to problem solve in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk active job sites regularly
- Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
- Ability to work in varying weather and site conditions
Organizational Structure
The Site Supervisor operates between the Project Manager and Project Coordinator within the organizational structure.
- The Project Manager oversees budgeting, client relations, scheduling, and overall project execution.
- The Site Supervisor manages day-to-day field operations and subcontractor performance.
- The Project Coordinator supports scheduling, documentation, communication, and administrative coordination.
This role acts as the bridge between office management and field execution to ensure projects run efficiently from start to finish.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
