Dispatch & Warehouse Operations Associate

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatch & Warehouse Operations Associate to support the daily flow of our delivery operations — from the moment freight arrives at our facility to the moment it reaches the customer's door. This role combines hands-on warehouse work with active dispatch coordination, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Route Coordination

Coordinate and assign delivery routes to drivers to ensure timely and efficient service

Monitor routes and delivery progress throughout the day using dispatch and tracking systems

Communicate continuously with drivers to provide updates, resolve issues, and adjust routes as needed

Respond to service disruptions, delays, or route changes with quick decision-making and effective problem resolution

Work closely with the Customer Service team to provide real-time delivery updates and address service concerns

Ensure all routes are properly covered and make staffing or routing adjustments as needed

Maintain clear communication with management regarding operational challenges and daily performance

Document and track delivery activity, exceptions, and service issues within dispatch and ticketing systems

Assist with reporting, administrative tasks, and operational support to ensure continuity of service

Warehouse & Freight Operations

Unload freight from arriving linehaul trucks and sort parcels onto assigned routes

Assist with numbering, organizing, mapping, and loading delivery vehicles after route breakdown

Operate warehouse equipment, including manual and electric pallet jacks, in compliance with safety guidelines

Maintain warehouse cleanliness by breaking down cardboard, sweeping floors, and removing trash

Follow all safety requirements and proper dress code standards at all times

What We're Looking For

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a dynamic environment

Comfortable working in both an office/dispatch setting and a physical warehouse environment

Experience in logistics, dispatch, or warehouse operations preferred

Familiarity with dispatch or tracking systems is a plus
