Job Overview
Pinnacle Building Services is looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to help grow our commercial cleaning and facility services business in the Salt Lake City market.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys meeting business owners, property managers, facility managers, and other decision-makers. The right candidate is confident with in-person prospecting, comfortable with rejection, motivated by performance-based compensation, and excited to help build a new territory.
This position begins as a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, with the potential to grow into a W-2 Account Executive role based on performance and recurring revenue generated.
Pinnacle provides janitorial services, floor care, construction cleaning, window cleaning, and specialty cleaning solutions for commercial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect local businesses through in-person visits, calls, and follow-up
- Build and manage a pipeline of commercial cleaning opportunities
- Schedule and complete walkthroughs with decision-makers
- Collect accurate building information, service needs, and scope details
- Work with the internal team to help prepare accurate proposals
- Follow up consistently with prospects until opportunities are closed or disqualified
- Maintain accurate activity and opportunity records in the company CRM
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews with management
- Represent Pinnacle professionally throughout the Salt Lake City territory
Performance Expectations
- Submit 5 proposals through the company CRM per week
- Minimum of 20 qualified appointments per month
- Target of 4 qualified proposals per week
- Daily CRM updates
- Weekly pipeline review participation
- Consistent prospecting activity
- Strong proposal accuracy
- Clear communication with management and operations
- Progress toward $20,000 in monthly recurring revenue
Compensation & Promotion Opportunity
This role begins as a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with performance- and commission-based earning potential. Compensation includes paid opportunities tied to qualified sales activity, commission opportunities based on new recurring revenue, and financial support for local territory development.
Additional compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
Sales representatives may become eligible for promotion to a W-2 Account Executive role after successfully building and maintaining a strong book of recurring monthly revenue.
Qualifications
- Previous outside sales, B2B sales, commission-based sales, or door-to-door sales experience preferred
- Experience selling commercial cleaning, janitorial, facility services, property services, or related services is a plus
- Comfortable with in-person prospecting and cold outreach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Motivated by performance-based compensation
- Organized, self-driven, and consistent with follow-up
- Comfortable using CRM software
- Willingness to complete CRM training, including PipeDrive training if needed
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to travel locally throughout the Salt Lake City territory

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
