Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager specializing in Healthcare Staffing Sales to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead efforts to connect healthcare facilities with qualified nursing professionals, including Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Nurse Practitioners (NPs). This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by matching healthcare providers with top-tier talent while advancing your career in healthcare sales and business development.

Responsibilities

Develop new business with nursing homes, SNFs, assisted living facilities, rehab centers, clinics, and hospitals in the LA/Santa Monica area.
Prospect and generate leads through cold calls, onsite visits, email outreach, networking, and referrals.
Meet with DONs, administrators, staffing coordinators, and HR leaders to understand staffing needs, shift patterns, and coverage challenges.
Present and promote our healthcare staffing solutions, including per diem, contract, and temp-to-hire staffing for CNAs, LVNs, RNs, and NPs.
Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate rate agreements, and manage contract execution in coordination with leadership.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and active accounts; document all activities and opportunities in CRM.
Partner with recruiters to ensure timely fulfillment, quality placements, and strong client satisfaction.
Conduct regular check-ins and onsite visits with key accounts to identify additional opportunities and deepen relationships.
Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to help shape sales strategies and pricing.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in healthcare staffing sales, medical sales, or B2B healthcare services.
Experience staffing CNAs, LVNs, RNs, or NPs and/or selling into nursing homes, SNFs, and hospitals is highly preferred.
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing a book of business or territory.
Strong understanding of how healthcare facilities manage staffing (per diem, contract, registry, OT, etc.).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with clinical and administrative decision-makers.
Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable balancing office work with field visits.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit clients in the LA area.

Work Environment & Schedule

Primary office location: LA / Santa Monica office
On-site role with a combination of in-office work and local client visits
Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional after-hours calls or meetings as needed
