Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Support Coordinator to join our construction management team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to project managers and field teams, ensuring smooth project execution from planning through completion. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help streamline communication, coordinate resources, and facilitate efficient project workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale civil engineering projects while developing your expertise in construction project coordination and management software tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling software to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Support the preparation, review, and management of construction plans, contracts, and change orders to maintain project scope and compliance.
Coordinate with field teams and subcontractors to track progress, resolve issues, and update project documentation regularly.
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and civil engineering project management tools to facilitate communication and document control.
Analyze Excel data for cost management, resource allocation, and schedule adjustments to optimize project efficiency.
Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays or risks, and communicate updates effectively to all stakeholders.
Assist with procurement processes including construction estimating, bid analysis, and contract administration to support project financial health.

Requirements

Proven experience with construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or scheduling tools like Microsoft Project.
Strong knowledge of construction industry practices including contract administration, cost management, and project planning.
Hands-on experience with construction site operations and familiarity with civil engineering project management software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel data analysis skills for reporting and tracking purposes.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Construction management or civil engineering background with relevant construction industry experience preferred.
Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for reviewing plans, schedules, and budgets.
