Live Streaming Sales Associate

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Location: Evansville, IN (In-Person)

About Main Phase One

Main Phase One is more than a game store. We are a community built on Fun, Fairness, Honesty, Respect, and Sportsmanship. We specialize in trading card games, collectibles, and live sales experiences that connect customers with the products they love.

We are looking for an outgoing, energetic person to become one of the faces of our live sales streams. If you enjoy talking to people, opening packs, sharing your excitement for collectibles, and helping customers have a great experience, this could be a great fit for you.

Position Summary

As a Live Streaming Sales Associate, you will host live online sales events featuring trading cards, collectibles, sealed products, and new releases. Your ability to connect with viewers, keep conversations moving, and create an entertaining experience will help drive sales and build customer loyalty.

This role combines sales, customer service, entertainment, and community building. One moment you may be opening packs for customers and celebrating a huge hit, and the next you may be answering questions, explaining products, or helping viewers decide what to purchase (talk-shop).

This Is More Than an Interview

This is not a typical retail position. While every candidate will complete an interview, this role also includes an on-camera audition. We are not just looking for someone who can sell products. We are looking for someone who can engage an audience, represent our store, and help create a fun and welcoming experience for viewers. Final candidates will be asked to participate in a short audition where they can demonstrate their communication style, personality, and ability to interact naturally with customers. Prior streaming experience is helpful but not required. We can teach products, procedures, and systems. What we are looking for is someone who brings enthusiasm, authenticity, confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with people.

Responsibilities

Host live streaming sales events across social media and e-commerce platforms.
Open packs of trading cards and collectibles live for customers.
Present products in an engaging, informative, and entertaining way.
Interact with viewers through chat and answer questions in real time.
Help build a positive online community around the Main Phase One brand.
Promote upcoming releases, events, tournaments, and store promotions.
Prepare products, pricing, and displays before broadcasts.
Assist with basic stream setup including cameras, lighting, and audio.
Work with team members to plan content, promotions, and special events.
Learn product information and communicate it clearly to customers.
Assist with in-store sales, merchandising, and customer service when not streaming.
Represent Main Phase One in a professional and positive manner both online and in person.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in retail, sales, customer service, public speaking, theater, broadcasting, content creation, or similar roles.
Familiarity with trading card games, collectibles, tabletop gaming, or related hobbies.
Experience with social media or livestreaming platforms.

Required Skills

Strong communication and people skills.
Comfortable speaking on camera.
Positive attitude and outgoing personality.
Ability to think on your feet and adapt during live broadcasts.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends when needed.
