Overview
Metcalf-Pacella Materials a division of R. M. Pacella, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a proven track record in driving business growth through effective relationship management and strategic outreach. The Landscape Materials Supply and Construction Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and supporting existing clients. This role involves promoting a range of landscape materials and construction equipment through direct engagement with contractors, property managers, and sole proprietors. This role involves engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with our offerings. The Landscape Materials Supply and Construction Equipment Sales Representative will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

Conduct outside sales activities to generate new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
Develops a business plan to achieve the annual sales target established by Metcalf-Pacella.
Manage and develop client relationships through effective account management practices.
Engage in business development initiatives to identify potential clients and market trends.
Utilize Metcalf-Pacella's software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
Perform cold calling and lead generation to build a robust sales pipeline.
Works with the existing customers and distribution networks in promoting and developing the awareness level of Metcalf-Pacella's comprehensive product lines and ancillary products in the specified market area
Deliver product demos to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of our solutions.
Works with assigned distribution partners to present products to contractors and owners
Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Collaborate with team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client retention and loyalty.
Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to inform management strategies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales, with a focus on landscape materials or equipment sales preferred.
Strong background in account management, direct sales, or retail sales environments.
Familiarity with Square software for tracking sales activities.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
Demonstrated ability in sales management and strategic planning for lead generation.
Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and drive informed decision-making.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
