As a Design Center Assistant / Receiver at Classic Rock, you’ll help homeowners make their dream selections while ensuring materials move efficiently through our warehouse. What You’ll Do:
Design Center Support:

Deliver exceptional customer service during design appointments

Assist homeowners with stone, edge profile, and sink selections

Answer phones and schedule design appointments

Mark and track materials for customer holds, maintaining the Material Hold Log
-
Facilitate Slab Smith photo documentation as needed
Receiving & Inventory:

Receive, verify, and put away incoming materials
-
Notify or deliver products to end users and departments
-
Verify documentation (packing slips, invoices) for all receipts
-
Enter receiving data into the computer system and send digital copies to Purchasing
-
Maintain raw material and critical supply inventories, including organization and cleaning
-
Assist with outbound shipments and inventory cycle counts

Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required while performing receiver duties
Qualifications & Skills:
-
High school diploma or GED, or 1–2 years of related experience

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, and diagrams

Strong communication skills to interact with homeowners, colleagues, and vendors

Math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals
-
Ability to lift up to 125 pounds, and perform regular physical activity (standing, walking, reaching, stooping, handling)
