General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair alarm systems
- Pull and run electrical wires in attics and crawl spaces
- Drill and cut holes, and properly mount devices with great attention to detail
- Write routine reports documenting work done on each site
- Drive, re-stock, and maintain cleanliness and organization of company work van
- Follow all safety and installation requirements, such as use of protective masks and foot covers when entering homes, following drilling safety procedures, and identifying utility shut-offs
- Basic customer service interactions, and ensure the client's home/business is always clean, undamaged, and free of any installation debris
Requirements:
- Live within a commutable distance to our Mill Valley office
- Possess a valid Driver's License and driving history that meets company standards throughout employment
- All employees must uphold a high level of professionalism, and especially when interacting with clients and entering residential spaces
- All employees are regularly required to stand, walk, bend, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, lift, talk, use power tools, and drive from job to job every day
- Must be fluent in English, to read building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints and schematics
