Our client, an industry-leading logistics company based in Doral, FL, is seeking a Cargo Claims Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish a must) to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, in-office role based at the company's Doral headquarters. The company is providing competitive annual compensation and full benefits package, with lots of opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities

Manage cargo claims from initial receipt through to complete resolution.
Perform detailed investigations by analyzing bills of lading, inspection reports, photographs, and additional supporting documentation.
Evaluate liability and conduct negotiations to achieve equitable settlements with clients, carriers, and insurance partners.
Collaborate closely with cargo insurance providers on claim submissions and recovery efforts.
Deliver clear, professional communication in both English and Spanish with customers, agents, and cross-regional internal teams.
Maintain precise claims records and generate regular reports for leadership.
Spot opportunities to lower claim frequency and boost overall recovery success rates.

Requirements

Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) – mandatory.
Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in cargo claims processing, insurance adjusting, or logistics operations.
Excellent analytical thinking, negotiation capabilities, and strong attention to detail.
Ability to stay composed, productive, and focused on solutions in a fast-moving, high-performance environment with open feedback.
Skilled at handling multiple claims concurrently while thriving under pressure.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Familiarity with maritime regulations, cargo liability rules, or the container shipping sector is a significant advantage.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
