Position 1: Senior Diesel and Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Wage Rate: $30.68/hr + SCA H&W Benefit
This role is the backbone of equipment readiness on the installation. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment that keeps operations running around the clock. We need a mechanic who works with precision, communicates clearly, and doesn't wait to be told when something needs attention. If you've spent years under the hood of heavy machinery and take pride in work done right, this is your seat.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment components
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts catalogs
- Identify and source required parts, coordinating with supply and logistics personnel as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment at all times
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with diesel and heavy equipment mechanics required
Position 2: Log Specialist (Auto Repair Parts)
Wage Rate: $20.60/hr + SCA H&W Benefit
You will serve as the critical link between maintenance needs and parts availability, keeping the supply chain tight so mechanics can do their jobs without delay. This role requires attention to detail, working knowledge of automotive and diesel parts, and a sharp ability to manage inventory with accuracy. You are not just pulling parts — you are keeping the mission on schedule.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue auto and diesel repair parts and supplies
- Process parts orders and track requisitions using inventory management systems
- Verify parts specifications against technical manuals and equipment requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic reconciliations
- Coordinate with mechanics and supervisors to anticipate parts demand and reduce downtime
- 3–5 years of experience in auto parts logistics, supply, or a related field required
Position 3: Log Specialist (Asset Management)
Wage Rate: $22.18/hr + SCA H&W Benefit
This position owns the accountability and lifecycle tracking of equipment and property assets across the operation. You will work within established property management frameworks to ensure every asset is accounted for, documented, and properly maintained in the system of record. Accuracy and ownership matter here — the mission depends on knowing exactly what we have and where it is.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Maintain property books and asset accountability records in compliance with applicable regulations
- Conduct physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies between records and on-hand assets
- Process equipment transfers, turn-ins, and new property receipts with full documentation
- Coordinate with unit personnel and leadership to ensure timely and accurate property accountability
- Support audits and inspections with organized, readily accessible documentation
- 3–5 years of experience in asset management, property accountability, or logistics required
What You Bring
Across all three roles, we are looking for candidates who share the following:
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant, hands-on experience in your field — not just familiarity, but working knowledge you've earned on the job
- Safety mindset: You follow safety protocols because you understand why they exist, not just because you have to
- Clearance eligibility: All candidates must be able to obtain CAC credentials and Cleared status within the first 30 days of employment
- Professionalism: You show up, communicate, and do the work — the team and the mission depend on it
- Incumbents preferred: Current contract workers on this installation are strongly encouraged to apply
