Full Job Description

The Basic Function:

The food processing position is involved in the manufacturing of a wide selection of produce and is responsible for following Segovia's Distributing, Inc.'s food safety procedures. This entails ensuring merchandise freshness, safe and efficient preparation of merchandise, upholding the highest company image and standards, maintaining the proper licensing throughout their service with the company, and all while expediting the workflow in the processing kitchen work floor.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Checking and controlling the equipment that process the produce
Checking instruments for example temperature gauges, at customary intervals
Keeping machines clean at all times.
Making sure the production line has a regular supply of raw materials
Check incoming and outgoing merchandise for quality and freshness
Ensure proper rotation of produce (First In, First Out)
Maintain a clean work area, free of trash and other debris
Assist in the processing area and warehouse cleaning procedures
Collect and dispose of trash and other production scrap in the proper manner
Obey all food handling laws and health regulations including the use of proper hair nets, gloves, and mouth guards.
Complete work logs as established by management
Immediately report any merchandise, equipment, or packaging anomalies to the warehouse manager
Accurately label and track products
Any and all other tasks assigned by management
Must pass Background Check / Drug Test

Coming in anywhere between 3am to 7am and leaving at Noon

El puesto de procesamiento de alimentos participa en la elaboración de una amplia selección de productos y es responsable de cumplir con los procedimientos de seguridad alimentaria de Segovia's Distributing, Inc. Esto implica garantizar la frescura de la mercancía, su preparación segura y eficiente, mantener la imagen y los estándares más altos de la empresa, mantener las licencias correspondientes durante toda su trayectoria laboral y, al mismo tiempo, agilizar el flujo de trabajo en la cocina de procesamiento.

RESPONSABILIDADES Y OBLIGACIONES:

Revisar y controlar el equipo que procesa los productos.

Revisar instrumentos, como los termómetros, a intervalos regulares.

Mantener las máquinas limpias en todo momento.

Asegurarse de que la línea de producción tenga un suministro regular de materias primas.

Verificar la calidad y frescura de la mercancía entrante y saliente.

Garantizar la rotación adecuada de los productos (primero en entrar, primero en salir).

Mantener el área de trabajo limpia, libre de basura y otros residuos.

Asistir en los procedimientos de limpieza del área de procesamiento y del almacén.

Recoger y desechar la basura y otros desechos de producción de forma adecuada.

Obedecer todas las leyes de manipulación de alimentos y las normas sanitarias, incluyendo el uso de redecillas para el cabello, guantes y protectores bucales adecuados.

Llevar los registros de trabajo según lo establecido por la gerencia.

Informar inmediatamente al gerente del almacén sobre cualquier anomalía en la mercancía, el equipo o el embalaje.

Etiquetar y rastrear los productos con precisión.

Realizar todas las demás tareas asignadas por la gerencia.

Debe aprobar la verificación de antecedentes penales y la prueba de drogas.

**Turno de mañana**

Entrar entre las 3:00 a. m. y las 7:00 a. m. y salir al mediodía.
