Full Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Production Supervisor with proven leadership experience in cable, wire harness, and electromechanical assembly operations within a contract manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring quality and delivery targets are met, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff across cable, harness, and electromechanical assembly lines.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with customer specifications, quality standards, and company procedures (including IPC/WHMA-A-620 where applicable).
Monitor production schedules and adjust labor and resources to meet delivery deadlines.
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to production team members.
Maintain accurate production records, report key metrics, and participate in daily production meetings.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize throughput.
Work closely with quality, engineering, and materials teams to resolve production issues and support new product introductions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety and accountability.

Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in cable, wire harness, and/or electromechanical assembly.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and quality standards related to low-to-medium volume, high-mix assembly.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline preferred.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
