Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with various assembly tools and techniques. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and develop expertise in electrical manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical components and subassemblies according to detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following IPC 610 standards.
Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to perform wiring, mounting, and assembly tasks.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly.
Conduct testing of assembled units using ohmmeters, multimeters, and other electrical testing devices.
Verify component placement and solder joints for quality compliance using calipers and inspection tools.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues during assembly or testing phases.
Assist in the development of assembly procedures and improve manufacturing workflows.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IPC 610 for electronic assemblies.

Skills

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and PCB layouts.
Strong understanding of electrical wiring, soldering techniques, and surface mount technology.
Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and mechanical knowledge relevant to electrical systems.
Familiarity with manufacturing standards such as IPC 610 for electronic assemblies.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment.
Ability to operate electrical testing devices including ohmmeters and multimeters accurately.
Experience with electrical wiring, schematics, and assembly procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met.
Prior experience working with PCB components, soldering techniques, and electrical testing is highly desirable. This position offers a dynamic environment where your technical skills will directly impact product quality.
