Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Services Account Executive – Life Sciences to drive business growth, develop strategic client relationships, and expand engineering services within the Life Sciences industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in engineering services, industrial automation, digital transformation, and consultative sales.
This role requires a proven track record of building client partnerships, managing enterprise accounts, identifying new opportunities, and delivering technology-driven engineering solutions to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow engineering services within the Life Sciences sector.
- Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with enterprise clients.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering leaders, IT teams, and business executives.
- Drive sales of engineering services, automation solutions, digital manufacturing, and technology consulting offerings.
- Understand client challenges and provide tailored solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and technical teams to create proposals and solution offerings.
- Manage account strategy, sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue targets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
- Support customer engagement activities, presentations, and executive-level discussions.
- Ensure successful client onboarding and long-term account growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5–20 years of experience in Engineering Services Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or Technology Consulting.
- Proven experience selling engineering services or industrial automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of Life Sciences industries including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, or healthcare.
- Experience managing enterprise clients and strategic accounts.
- Strong knowledge of engineering services, automation, digital transformation, and manufacturing technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Engineering Service Providers (ESPs), System Integrators, or Technology Consulting firms.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, MES, IoT, digital manufacturing, and smart factory solutions.
- Experience with regulated Life Sciences environments (GxP, FDA, GMP).
- Strong network within pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device organizations.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work with global delivery and engineering teams.
