Rent Now Solutions is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential rental properties. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service to property owners and residents while coordinating leasing activities, maintenance, inspections, and property operations.
Working alongside our collaborative property management team, you'll help create a seamless experience for owners, residents, vendors, and prospective tenants. We're looking for a service-minded professional who is organized, proactive, and passionate about protecting clients' investments while creating positive rental experiences.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
- Manage an assigned portfolio of residential rental properties, including single-family homes, townhomes, and select condominiums.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure properties are maintained to company standards.
- Monitor property conditions and recommend maintenance or improvements to protect owner investments.
- Maintain accurate property records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable South Carolina property management requirements.
Owner Relations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for property owners.
- Provide regular updates regarding maintenance, leasing activity, inspections, and resident concerns.
- Build lasting client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional customer service.
- Assist owners in making informed decisions regarding property maintenance and rental readiness.
Leasing Operations
- Coordinate the leasing process from vacancy through move-in.
- Work with the Property Management Assistant to support lead follow-up, scheduling, property showings, and applicant communications.
- Monitor vacancy timelines and recommend strategies to reduce days on market.
- Support leasing efforts and contribute to portfolio growth through exceptional customer service.
Resident Relations
- Build positive relationships with residents throughout their tenancy.
- Respond promptly to resident questions and maintenance concerns.
- Manage lease renewals, notices, and resident communications.
- Monitor rent collections and follow up on delinquent accounts, issuing required notices and coordinating collection and eviction processes in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Maintenance & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate maintenance requests from start to completion.
- Obtain vendor estimates and schedule repairs.
- Monitor work quality and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
- Build positive relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Obtain owner approval for repairs as required by the Property Management Agreement.
Qualifications
Required
- Active South Carolina Property Manager License.
- Minimum of 2 years of residential property management experience.
- Experience managing residential rental properties.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Experience managing single-family homes and townhomes.
- Familiarity with property management software such as RentVine.
- Knowledge of leasing, maintenance coordination, inspections, and resident retention.

Schedule & Work Environment
This is a hybrid position with our home office in Fort Mill, SC.
- Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Flexibility during the week is expected to accommodate occasional weekend property showings.
- Administrative work may be completed remotely.
- Team meetings and training are held in Fort Mill, SC.
- Local travel is required for property visits, inspections, and owner or vendor meetings.
