Full Job Description

Job Summary

Join our dynamic restoration team as a Restoration Technician and become a vital part of helping clients recover from unexpected damages caused by fire, water, mold, or storms. In this energetic role, you will respond swiftly to emergency situations, perform thorough cleaning and restoration services, and utilize a variety of tools and techniques to restore properties to their original condition. Your dedication to safety, excellent customer service, and hands-on skills will ensure that every project is completed efficiently and effectively. This position offers on-call coverage, requiring flexibility and readiness to respond at a moment’s notice.

Duties

Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, flood, or mold-related incidents, providing immediate assessment and action.
Perform cleaning, debris removal, and surface preparation using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Conduct fire restoration tasks such as soot removal, odor control, and smoke damage mitigation with attention to detail.
Execute water damage restoration processes including extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation.
Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites while adhering to all safety protocols.
Apply industry-standard techniques for asbestos abatement and mold remediation following strict safety guidelines.
Use Xactimate software for estimating damages and documenting work performed; maintain accurate records throughout each project.
Follow all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection gear, and adherence to OSHA standards.
Collaborate with clients professionally to explain procedures and ensure satisfaction with the restoration process.
Maintain cleanliness of work sites through detailed cleaning procedures including carpet cleaning when necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in the restoration industry or construction background is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of water damage restoration, flood recovery, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement processes.
Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations with emergency response readiness skills.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and Xactimate estimating software.
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional communication abilities.
Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles safely; clean driving record required.
Willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergencies as part of the on-call coverage schedule.
Commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE use and respiratory protection measures at all times.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and prolonged standing or walking.
