Senior Accountant
Position Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting for a variety of clients.
While there is some involvement in transactional accounting, this position is primarily focused on higher-level responsibilities such as general ledger analysis, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. If you enjoy digging into the details, solving problems, and producing meaningful financial insights, this role offers strong exposure and growth in a client-facing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations, including prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets
- Analyze and maintain the integrity of the general ledger
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries
- Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support financial reporting, including consolidations where applicable
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Collaborate with internal team members to troubleshoot and improve processes
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and organization
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Comfort interacting with clients via phone, email, and in person
- A strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with openness to feedback and a continuous improvement mindset
