Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Investment Operations to lead and optimize our investment management processes. This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily operations that support our investment activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing the efficiency of our financial workflows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial concepts, investment management, and regulatory reporting, combined with exceptional leadership skills to drive operational excellence across the organization. Duties

Lead and manage the end-to-end investment operations, including trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting functions.
Oversee compliance with securities laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies to ensure all investment activities meet legal standards.
Collaborate with portfolio managers, finance teams, and external partners to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Implement and maintain robust financial software systems for accurate bookkeeping, accounting, and asset management tracking.
Monitor and enhance the accuracy of regulatory reporting related to investments, ensuring timely submission to relevant authorities.
Develop and enforce best practices in investment management processes, including securities transactions, asset allocation, and risk controls.
Provide leadership in training staff on financial concepts such as banking procedures, investment banking operations, and asset management principles to foster a high-performance team.

Skills

Extensive experience in investment management, asset management, or financial services with a focus on operational functions.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial software tools used in investment operations.
Deep understanding of securities law, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements affecting investments.
Proven ability to manage portfolio management systems and financial software platforms effectively.
Excellent financial acumen with a solid grasp of banking operations, financial concepts, and investment banking processes.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience directing teams responsible for financial management and operational workflows.
