Grants Administrator Level I

This position can be based out of Pinellas, Pasco, Nassau, or Duval Counties and will require periodic travel between them.

The mission of Family Support Services is to be the leader in providing safety, stability, and quality of life for all children by working with the community to strengthen the family unit.

Job Summary:

This position supports our offices in Duval, Nassau, Pasco & Pinellas counties. Daily responsibilities include: researching and identifying grant opportunities, acquiring, and compiling data, completing, and submitting grant applications, maintaining grant data and providing status updates/reporting to internal and external customers as required and ensures compliance with grant responsibilities and accountabilities. Occasional travel required between offices in Northeast Florida and Suncoast Florida.

Essential Duties:

Actively research and identify grant opportunities and other similar funding sources.
Create, monitor, and refine systems to track grant opportunities and submissions.
Coordinate with appropriate staff to determine and confirm which grants to pursue then initiate and complete the grant application process.
Manage data collection and reporting systems for acquired grants; prepare timelines and status reports. Maintain grant and program records.
Ensure responsiveness to grantor/compliance with scope of grant. Assure performance of grant implementation. Act as liaison with grant contacts.
Facilitate and maintain grant-related community partnerships
Facilitate/liaison department MindShare/CoBRIS requests/needs.
Attend appropriate meetings as needed
Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business related field. Master’s Degree preferred

Experience: Demonstrated history of receiving local and/or state awards

Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
Experience with PowerPoint and experience with Adobe’s Creative Suite a plus
