Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Solar Sales Consultant to drive our renewable energy initiatives and expand our customer base. In this role, you will leverage your sales expertise and technical knowledge of solar energy solutions to engage potential clients, educate them on the benefits of solar power, and close deals that promote sustainable energy use. Your enthusiasm for renewable energy, combined with your strong communication skills, will help us deliver exceptional service while meeting or exceeding sales targets. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your leadership and sales skills will make a meaningful impact on both our company and the planet.

Duties

Engage in outside sales activities by visiting prospective clients at their homes or businesses to present solar energy solutions.
Conduct detailed consultations to assess customer energy needs, explain technical aspects of solar panels, and recommend tailored solutions through remote presentation and in person
Negotiate terms with clients, overcoming objections and ensuring mutual satisfaction to facilitate deal closing.
Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Salesforce to track interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress efficiently.
Maintain excellent customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring client communication is clear, professional, and responsive.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals by actively pursuing new opportunities and nurturing existing leads.
Demonstrate leadership by guiding new team members in technical sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.

Requirements

Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the solar energy or energy solutions industry.
Must have active HIS license for CA state
Strong background in marketing strategies for lead generation and client acquisition.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
Technical sales experience related to solar panels or renewable energy products is preferred.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals efficiently.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently through direct selling methods like door-to-door outreach or appointments.
Leadership qualities that inspire team collaboration and continuous improvement in sales techniques.
