Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all areas of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, payroll coordination, and policy development. This individual will partner closely with leadership and employees to support a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR practices align with business goals and employment regulations.
The ideal candidate is someone who is approachable, organized, solutions-oriented, and passionate about helping both employees and the organization succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.
- Support employees and managers with HR-related questions, workplace concerns, and employee relations matters.
- Administer employee benefits programs and coordinate annual open enrollment.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and confidential documentation.
- Coordinate payroll-related information and employee updates with the accounting team.
- Manage workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, leave administration, and other employee-related processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Support performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on organizational improvements.
- Help foster a workplace culture built on teamwork, accountability, respect, and safety.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and other projects as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience with increasing responsibility.
- Strong understanding of federal and Florida employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, and Microsoft Office systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
