Job Title: Loan Servicing Associate
This is an onsite position at our historical San Antonio headquarters
Summary:
The Loan Servicing Associate supports basic day-to-day loan servicing activities while learning bank systems, policies, and procedures. This entry-level position is responsible for completing routine administrative and servicing tasks, maintaining accurate records, assisting with borrower and internal inquiries, and escalating questions or issues to more experienced team members. This role is designed for someone who is detail-oriented, service-minded, and willing to learn loan servicing processes in a structured team environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform basic loan servicing tasks under guidance, including posting routine payments, preparing account updates, and assisting with payoff or adjustment requests.

Enter and update loan information in servicing systems accurately and in accordance with established procedures.

Assist with document review, file maintenance, scanning, indexing, and other recordkeeping activities.

Support insurance, escrow, and collateral tracking activities by gathering information, updating records, and identifying items that need follow-up.

Respond to basic borrower and internal inquiries in a professional and timely manner, or route questions to the appropriate team member.

Review work for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation before submission or completion.

Learn and follow bank policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, internal controls, and applicable regulatory guidance.

Identify routine questions, discrepancies, or missing information and escalate issues appropriately for review or resolution.

Support team members with audit, monitoring, reporting, and documentation requests as assigned.

Complete required training in a timely manner and apply learning to daily responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree or relevant coursework is preferred.
Required Knowledge/Skills:

No prior banking or loan servicing experience required; training will be provided.

Basic computer skills, including the ability to learn internal systems and use Microsoft Office or similar applications.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures accurately.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to organize work, manage routine tasks, and meet deadlines with guidance.

Ability to ask questions, accept feedback, and escalate issues when additional support is needed.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desired Experiences:

Customer service, administrative support, data entry, records management, or office experience preferred.
