Full Job Description

Our client is a well-established wholesale meat distribution company serving restaurants throughout the New York City area. Known for supplying high-quality meat products while delivering exceptional customer service, competitive pricing, and dependable service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Wholesale Meat Sales Representative to their team.

Location: New York City (Manhattan Focus)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule : Monday to Friday AM Shift. ( Must have a flexable schedule)
Pay : $20-$30/hr with Commission and bonuses ( Depending on Experience )

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Wholesale Meat Sales Representative to expand customer base throughout Manhattan's restaurant industry.

Job Responsibilities

Develop new business by prospecting and acquiring restaurant accounts throughout Manhattan.
Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, purchasing managers, and food service professionals.
Present and sell our wholesale meat products, pricing, and promotions to prospective customers.
Manage existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities to increase sales.
Conduct regular in-person visits to restaurants and food establishments.
Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs.
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience required.
Experience in the food service, meat, seafood, produce, or restaurant supply industry is strongly preferred.
Existing relationships within the Manhattan restaurant industry are a significant plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Comfortable spending the majority of the day visiting customers in the field.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
