About Us

We are a growing residential roofing company serving homeowners throughout the North Shore and Greater Boston area. Our reputation is built on quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and exceptional customer service. We take pride in delivering roofing projects safely, efficiently, and with the highest standards of workmanship.

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Field Operations Superintendent to lead our field operations and help ensure every project is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Position Summary

The Field Operations Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily field operations for residential roofing projects from pre-construction through final completion.

This role serves as the primary field representative between homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and office staff, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

This is a full-time, field-based position and is not remote.

What You'll DoProject Planning & Pre-Construction

Conduct pre-job site inspections
Verify project scope and specifications
Identify safety concerns and site challenges
Confirm material requirements
Ensure crews have complete job information before work begins

Field Operations

Coordinate subcontractors and daily production activities
Monitor project schedules and progress
Resolve field issues quickly and effectively
Maintain efficient workflow from start to finish

Safety Leadership

Enforce company safety policies
Conduct regular jobsite inspections
Ensure proper PPE usage
Promote OSHA compliance
Lead by example in maintaining a safe work environment

Quality Control

Inspect roofing installations throughout each project
Ensure manufacturer specifications are followed
Conduct final inspections
Oversee punch-list completion
Reduce warranty claims and callbacks through proactive quality management

Materials & Equipment

Verify deliveries and material quantities
Monitor material usage
Prevent shortages, delays, and unnecessary waste

Project Documentation

Maintain accurate project records using AccuLynx or similar construction management software
Upload jobsite photos and documentation
Update project status daily
Support labor tracking and job costing

Customer Communication

Serve as the primary field contact for homeowners
Provide project updates
Address questions and concerns professionally
Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the project

Project Closeout

Conduct final walkthroughs
Ensure jobsites are clean and organized
Complete all required documentation
Verify punch-list completion
Submit production closeout reports

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in roofing, construction, restoration, or field operations
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Experience coordinating subcontractors and jobsite activities
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with residential roofing systems
Familiarity with AccuLynx or similar construction management software
OSHA safety knowledge
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Physical Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Comfortable climbing ladders and navigating active construction sites
Ability to lift and carry roofing materials and equipment as needed
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
