Key Responsibilities:
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints/inspection and examine to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Troubleshoot and repair of suspension, driveline, steering components, brake system – air and hydraulic, engine repair, and electrical.
- Install injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, change or recharge batteries, and replace transmissions and other parts.
- Document all work performed and recommended repair orders.
- Conduct road test to ensure vehicle as needed.
- Adherence to all company and industry safety standards.
- Ability to organize the work presented and plan for the highest efficiency and productivity in the performance of all job functions.
- Continual training and development in support of individual career and company goals.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational or technical certification on vehicle repairs.
- 5+ years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
- Training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications.
- Ability to work with diagnostics computer for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Must have your own toolset to perform assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
- Experience with diagnostics computer for troubleshooting and repairs.
- ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications.
- OEM training courses.
- Ability to work with complex technical information.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
- Experience with repair orders and documentation.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
