Full Job Description

You love working in a fast-paced, collaborative culture that lets you use your attention to detail. Our warehouse is air-conditioned and climate controlled for comfort.

At Alta Technologies, we resell tech hardware and work with everything from large enterprise servers and switches to upgrade parts.

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician who is reliable, consistent, and has a commitment to help provide high quality systems and parts to our clients around the world, while supporting the circular economy for tech equipment, by performing a thorough inspection of every customer order before shipment to ensure it meets the company's quality standards and customer requirements. This includes verifying the correct part numbers, quantities, product condition, functionality (when applicable), cosmetic quality, and compliance with all special customer instructions. The technician ensures all items are accurately labeled, properly packaged, and free of defects or discrepancies, helping maintain high customer satisfaction and minimizing shipping errors and returns. Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 9:30am - 6:30pm.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma and consistent work history.

The ideal candidate should have excellent attention for details and ability to communicate clearly between teams. The candidate should have the ability to follow instructions/SOPs and keep accurate records in our inventory system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive a Crown Wave lift (no forklift required)
Verifies all parts on the order matches pick list and all special instructions are followed.
Prints labels & documents when necessary.
Communicates any order issues to Operations or Customer support teams.
Organizes sales orders in QC area
Other duties as assigned

Physical requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand up to 4 hours
You will primarily work in a standing position, within a climate controlled, secure environment.
