Please read before applying: This role requires confident, reliable IV insertion on your own in the field. We are looking for nurses with strong venipuncture skills and a background in emergency department (ED) and/or medical-surgical (med-surg) nursing. This is not a training position.

Overview

Fresh IV Drips is a premium mobile concierge IV therapy service operating throughout New York City. We're hiring experienced, confident Registered Nurses to deliver IV hydration and wellness infusions directly to clients at their homes, apartments, hotels, and offices.

This is flexible, per-diem and part-time work built for nurses who already work full-time elsewhere and want to add high-quality, well-compensated one-on-one care to their week. You'll work independently in a calm, non-hospital setting, representing a polished, high-end brand with every client you see.

What Makes This Role Different

Because you'll be working solo in the field, you need to walk in already skilled and self-sufficient. Strong, reliable IV insertion is the single most important qualification for this role. You should be able to establish an IV confidently, on the first or second attempt, across a range of patients and vein types, without a second nurse to fall back on.

This is not a training position. We are not the place to build or practice IV skills - candidates who are not yet proficient at venipuncture and IV insertion will not be a fit. If you can start a line cleanly and consistently on your own, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Administer IV hydration and wellness infusions safely and accurately
Perform venipuncture and IV insertion with speed, confidence, and professionalism
Conduct pre-infusion assessments, including vitals
Monitor clients throughout treatment and assess their response to therapy
Educate clients on IV therapy benefits, aftercare, and recommended follow-up
Maintain strict aseptic technique and follow infection control protocols
Document treatments, assessments, and outcomes accurately in our systems
Manage IV supplies and stay ready for mobile appointments
Communicate clearly with the clinical team about client status or concerns
Deliver a calm, reassuring, high-end concierge experience on every visit

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Current BLS/CPR and ACLS
Strong, proven IV insertion and venipuncture skills - this is a hard requirement
Hospital nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
Excellent bedside manner and patient communication skills
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
Comfortable traveling to client locations throughout NYC
Professional, punctual, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

Reliable access to a car - strongly preferred for covering appointments efficiently across the city
Emergency department (ED) experience - strongly preferred
Medical-surgical (med-surg) nursing experience - strongly preferred
Background in concierge, mobile healthcare, or wellness services
