Full Job Description

Zahav is seeking a fired up line cook to join our dedicated team. This person will work in a fast-paced, fine dining kitchen in a restaurant built on bringing exceptional hospitality. This is a 5 day per week position, Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Direct responsibilities include:

Handling a high volume restaurant with an upbeat attitude in an open kitchen
Communicating with staff members effectively and seamlessly
Being self-motivated to provide exceptional hospitality
Reading tickets quickly and acting as your own expeditor in a fast-paced work environment
Engaging in an immaculately clean and inviting restaurant
Supporting fellow back of house team members

The right candidate is exceedingly dependable, puts forth a great attitude, is looking to both learn and grow every day, and is committed to the tight team. 2 years relevant experience required.

Zahav is the anchor of the CookNSolo Restaurants family, co-owned by chef Michael Solomonov and Steve Cook, who combined are five-time James Beard Award winners. The other distinctive CookNSolo concepts are Laser Wolf, Dizengoff, Goldie, K’Far, Jaffa Bar, and Lilah Events, all in Philadelphia.

Full-time employees are eligible for subsidized health insurance, dental and vision insurance, transportation and parking benefits, our company wellness program, and a dining discount at all Philadelphia-based, company-owned restaurants. Pay rate for this role is $19/hour and scales based on experience.
