Full Job Description

NOW HIRING – Cultural Advisors (U.S. Citizens)

Supporting the U.S. Air Force

Location: Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

US21 Inc. is seeking highly qualified Cultural Advisors (Arabic/English) to support the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing (380 AEW) at Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE. This is an exciting opportunity to serve alongside the U.S. Air Force by providing cultural expertise, language support, and liaison services that directly contribute to mission success.

Position Summary

The Cultural Advisor serves as the primary liaison between U.S. military personnel and Host Nation officials by providing:

Cultural advisory services
Arabic ↔ English interpretation
Written translation
Cross-cultural communication
Host Nation liaison support
Administrative coordination
Mission planning support
Government and military relationship development

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

U.S. Citizen
Active SECRET Security Clearance
Valid U.S. Passport
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Eligible for an International Driver's License
Ability to obtain UAE residency and work authorization
Arabic and English language proficiency (ILR 3+/3+ or equivalent preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of Gulf Region culture and customs
Professional appearance and demeanor

Site Lead Position (One Vacancy)

Additional qualifications include:

Minimum one year supervisory experience
Minimum two years supporting U.S. military or government operations in one or more of the following:
Cultural advising
Military liaison
Interpretation and translation
Cross-cultural training
Operational military support

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

Advise senior military leadership on UAE culture and customs
Interpret meetings between U.S. and UAE officials
Translate official correspondence and documents
Coordinate with Host Nation agencies
Support immigration and base access processes
Participate in military exercises and special events
Prepare reports and documentation
Respond to mission requirements, including emergency support

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday
Standard duty hours
Occasional evenings and weekends
On-call support for emergency operations
Overseas deployment to the United Arab Emirates
