Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Electronic Component Solderer! In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) with precision and care. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality electronic assemblies used in a variety of innovative products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in electronics manufacturing, working with state-of-the-art tools and techniques to bring complex electronic devices to life.

Responsibilities

Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto PCBs following detailed schematics and IPC 610 standards for quality and reliability
Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings to accurately assemble electronic modules
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other precision instruments to position and secure components on circuit boards
Inspect solder joints and assemblies for defects using visual inspection techniques and ohmmeters to ensure electrical integrity
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times during machining, wiring, or soldering tasks
Document work processes and quality checks diligently to support manufacturing standards and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills

Knowledge of IPC 610 and J-STD for electronic assembly quality assurance
Proficiency in soldering techniques, especially surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise assembly tasks
Excellent attention to detail combined with strong manual dexterity for intricate assembly work
Effective communication skills to collaborate within a manufacturing team focused on quality and efficiency
